Who are we?
Teachers Health was created by teachers for teachers over 70 years ago and is the only health fund exclusively for the education community. As a not-for-profit health fund, we exist for our members covering the lives of over 400,000 teachers, education staff & their families.
  
What will you do? / How will you help?

  • Perform data analysis for monthly valuations and product performance reviews.
  • Support annual budget submissions and premium rate setting, including running and updating projection models.
  • Prepare and compile data for strategic projects like capital modeling, reporting improvements, and model development.
  • Present insights and analysis to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats.
  • Ensure process accuracy and efficiency, implementing improvements and documenting changes.  

What do you need? /What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Studies or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for analysis and reporting; knowledge of R and SQL is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey insights.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a self-motivated attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • A team-oriented, organised individual capable of managing multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
