Ventia is on the lookout for skilled Riggers to join our team for an exciting shutdown project at BlueScope's No. 5 BLAST FURNACE in Wollongong. This is your chance to gain valuable experience, work with an incredible team, and pave the way for future casual or permanent roles. Plus, you could be part of the No. 6 Blast Furnace Alignment!
Shutdown Dates: 4th - 6th March 2025
What We Offer:
- Competitive Pay: $42.92 per hour + overtime
- Flexible Shifts: 12-hour day and night shifts
- Travel Allowance: For eligible candidates
- Inclusive Culture: Work in a collaborative and supportive environment
- Future Opportunities: Potential for ongoing roles
What You Need:
- High Risk Work License: RI, RA preferred
- Desirable Tickets: Working at Heights and Confined Space
- Experience: Recent work as a Rigger, ideally in a shutdown setting
- Safety Commitment: Strong adherence to safe work practices
- Readiness: Willingness to complete online inductions
By joining our shutdown crew, you'll be first in line for future projects across Australia and permanent roles in Wollongong. We have ongoing positions for Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters, and Riggers.
