About the Project
Under the Roads Maintenance contract, on behalf of TMR, Ventia provides Asset management and Maintenance services of pavement and roadside assets across South Brisbane.
About the Role
We're looking for expressions of interest of Road Construction and Maintenance Workers with asphalt experience for potential upcoming work Monday to Friday with occasional weekends on 8-10hr shifts with the possibility to work across both day and night shifts. This opportunity could also result in a permanent role within the Ventia business after 12 months. The role will support the team with Routine maintenance operation and small rehab projects out of the Staplyton depot across South Brisbane with the occasional requirement to travel to Brisbane Airport or Port of Brisbane. You will be grade checking and general civil labouring around the roads network.
About You
To be successful for the role, we're looking for the following qualities/tickets in a new team member:
- Civil experience on asphalt is hgighly desirable.
- Roller Ticket, excavator or HR licence is Desirable
- Watercart experiance
- Construction White Card.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Great communication skills and is punctual.
- Ability to learn or use Ipad.
