Excavator/Operator - Bluescope Rail
Ventia is currently seeking for an experienced Excavator/Operator to work alongside the Bluescope Rail team within Bluescope Steel in Wollongong, NSW.
About the role:
- Immediate start for the right candidate
- Rates from $40.88 Per Hour + Penalties + Overtime
- Casual role with ongoing work with Ventia
- Monday – Friday | 7.00am – 3.30pm
- Overtime and Saturdays available to workers
- Temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate
- Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
About you:
- Previous experience with Operating Machinery: especially Excavators, Tamper or Backhoes
- Excavator/Loader/Backhoe tickets (Essential)
- HR Driver’s license (Desirable)
- Previous Rail experience (Desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can do attitude with the ability to work within a large team
- Have a strong commitment to safe work practices
- Great knowledge of industrial manufacturing plant and machinery
