Sales Consultant


Responsible for driving opportunities through the sales pipeline to generate new policies, in addition to assisting with the retention of the existing corporate portfolio and capitalising on new leads.

About the Role

HCF, Australia's Largest Not-For-Profit Health Insurer, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Consultant to join our team. This hybrid role will focus on increasing the number of new policies by engaging with our broader Corporate Sales team and corporate portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritise activities to maximise efficiency of engagement with existing opportunities in the pipeline.
  • Attend client onsite and engagement activations with our account managers
  • Support our Corporate Sales Team with existing and prospective member enquires.
  • Undertake onsite, virtual and phone based 1:1 consults
  • Convert opportunities into sales with the effective use of the CRM and booking system

Requirements

Background in Sales with a clear focus on bottom line results and revenue growth; implementing operational sales plans that contributes towards the overall departmental targets. Strong multi-tasking, problem solving skills and attention to detail, with a solid understanding of data and marketing-led sales approaches.

A minimum of two years of Sales experience with:

  • An intimate knowledge of the Health Insurance Industry, its products and policies.
  • The ability to effectively establish rapport, ask searching questions, communicate the details of Private Health and ask for the sale.
  • Experience in managing a sales pipeline and the ability to prioritise tasks to maximise engagement with prospects.
  • A team player who has a flexible mindset and is willing to try new things.
