About the role..  
As an Employment Development Consultant, you will work across Bankstown and Campsie with focus on providing on the job mentoring and on-site support to both our clients and their employers to create a positive work outcome.   

  • Engaging and developing relationships with clients and their employers to understand what services and supports they may need. 
  • Regular check-ins and updates, providing positive encouragement, guidance and support. 
  • Providing on the job support & ongoing support 
  • Drive community and employer engagement 
  • Provide targeted and effective training to groups and individuals including employers such as co-worker training, disability awareness and support to enhance workplace inclusion 
  • Establish and maintain relationships and networks with employers and local communities with a focus on securing sustainable employment outcomes

You are a passionate, results-driven person focused on building lasting business relationships. You thrive on working in a fast paced environment whilst delivering exceptional customer service.  

  • Drive to achieve and exceed targets 
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and employers 
  • Excellent organisation and time management 
  • Resilience and persistence in overcoming challenges 
  • Creativity to generate new employment opportunities 
  • Determination to remove barriers for people with disability 
  • Disability Employment Services experience (desirable) 
  • Knowledge of disability employment support strategies preferred 
  • Confidence in marketing with strong negotiation skills 
  • Networking & relationship management skill 
  • Driver's licence (essential)  
  • Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain 
  • Criminal Record Check (or willing to obtain) 
  • NDIS Clearance Check (or willing to obtain)
