About the role..
The Employment Consultant position we have available is based in our Disability Employment program located in Wallsend. This program supports clients with a disability, navigate the world of employment.
Your role works in conjunction with other members of your team, each fulfilling an important part in supporting clients day-to-day as they navigate life finding employment and being employed. As an Employment Consultant, your role supports clients from the start when they initially join with Breakthru, it includes:
You will also be required to complete a range of administration to document a person’s progress in line with program funding and reports.

This exciting opportunity is available immediately and is perfect for someone with experience supporting clients with disability who’s passionate about helping them find sustainable employment.
We’re looking for someone who is confident with computers, administration, and time management, while also being genuinely passionate about community connection and helping others achieve their goals.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a natural relationship-builder, adaptable in your communication style, and motivated by seeing positive outcomes for clients.
