About the role..  
Based in Wallsend our Account Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships with stakeholders that contribute toward Breakthru's growth.  You will identify, establish and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships within the local community to increase clients accessing Breakthru's DES services.

You will also support these clients, by ensuring there are ongoing employment and work experience opportunities fed through by your local and national employer partners.  
Key responsibilities include: 

  • Promote Breakthru programs and services to attract new clients and partners 
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and stakeholders 
  • Support clients through the DES entry process 
  • Undertake reverse marketing, cold calling, and employer engagement to create job opportunities 
  • Negotiate work experience placements and transitions to employment 
  • Influence pre-employment support strategies to meet employer needs 
  • Educate stakeholders on disability confidence 
  • Promote the benefits of employment to clients 
  • Represent Breakthru at marketing and networking events 
  • Analyse labour market trends 



About you..  
You are passionate, driven to succeed and thrive on client services, building relationships both internally and externally to ensure the success of obtaining an ongoing pipeline of new clients, but also job placements for our clients. 
You will also be able to clearly articulate and demonstrate: 

  • Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business targets and KPIs

  • Ability to advocate on behalf of our clients

  • Strong communication skills and able to deal with a diverse range of people 
  • Ambitious, passionate and results driven 
  • Drivers license (essential) 
  • Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain)  
  • Working with children’s check (essential or willing to obtain)  
  • NDIS Workers screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain)
