As the Manager – Capital Program Management you will lead the Project Management Office within the Implementation Team, playing a pivotal role in the oversight and delivery of CSIRO’s capital works program. This includes managing early project scoping, business case development, procurement, and ensuring strategic alignment through to completion.
The role focuses on governance and best practice in project delivery, from initiation and monitoring to reporting and continuous improvement. A strong emphasis is placed on capital works, particularly in the delivery of complex and high-value infrastructure projects such as laboratories and biocontainment facilities within operational environments.
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in managing major capital project programs, alongside the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across CSIRO, government, and industry. Supported by the Capital Program Delivery Manager and reporting to the Executive Manager, Implementation, this position operates within a defined project governance framework and requires periodic domestic travel.

Salary: AU$131k - AU$153k pa plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Indefinite, Full-time
