Senior Digital Insights Analyst


The purpose of the Senior Digital Insights Analyst role is to produce ongoing end-to-end customer journey analysis by integrating data from the online and offline platforms. With deep understanding of online/offline data and business context, the role will work closely with the Digital team in providing actionable insights across the HCF digital estate.

Key Tasks

  • Integration of digital and enterprise data to perform end-to-end customer journey analysis and proactively assess online customer behaviour to provide insights and recommend actions for improvement in the user experience and website conversion.
  • Define and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and optimise investments.
  • Design and implement advanced customer segmentation and personalisation strategies to improve digital engagement and conversion.
  • Drive the optimisation & personalisation activities through ideation, actionable insights from data, hypotheses generation.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging digital data in strategic decision making, driving adoption of data driven culture.
  • Support the Digital Insights lead in developing an efficient digital analytics ‘factory’ with appropriate balance of automation and deeper bespoke reporting.
  • Collaborate with other reporting and insights teams across HCF to develop insights and share knowledge to support overall business performance.
  • Create compelling data visualizations for impactful presentation of insights, including metric creation/design and accessible self-service dashboards that are fact based, intuitive and re-usable.
  • Actively contribute to the standardization of the digital data layer through solid understanding of key building blocks of data strategy, for example an understanding of the role of the data layer (re-use, standardisation) and how data is collected and stored

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in using web analytics tools and testing tools such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target , Optimisely
  • Demonstrated ability in integration of digital and enterprise data to perform end-to-end customer journey analysis
  • Someone who can not only extract the data but can proactively provide insights and recommended actions for digital optimisation. In other words, you’re a great ‘storyteller’.
  • As a natural communicator, you have the confidence to challenge your peers.
  • Use data to drive an optimisation program, supporting hypotheses put forward by stakeholders and successfully improving onsite conversion.
  • Have strong cross functional and virtual teaming skills
  • Broker digital analytics work priorities across a diverse portfolio of requirements

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in customer data platforms such as AEP to contribute to the website personalisation activities is desirable.
  • Experience in SQL, SAS, R or Python as a scripting language is advantageous.
