This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity based in our Head Office in Sydney CBD

The role


As the Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for the delivery and execution of key campaigns and activity, focused on informing our members of business-critical events, compliance, service communications and any tactical campaigns. The communications and activity strategy will be executed predominantly via member journeys in SalesForce, which will need to be designed to help inform, educate, engage, and ultimately retain members with HCF.

In this role you will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Service Communications in the Marketing team. In your role you will collaborate closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including the Marketing team Brand & Content, Digital, Member Health, Product, Portfolio and PMO, external suppliers and other divisions as required.

Responsibilities

  • End to end campaign delivery and execution of key business critical projects, service communications and tactical initiatives
  • Delivery of key annual service, compliance and tactical communications, and any other campaign activity as they arise
  • Coordination of relevant communication & data requirements for each campaign
  • Capture and report on learnings and insights for future testing and optimisations across not just campaign activity but operational efficiencies.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or communications
  • 5+ years’ experience in a campaign management role. Ideally, within a data driven marketing role in medium to large organisations.
  • Strong end-to-end marketing execution campaign experience and a proven track record of results
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex data sets and multi-variable campaigns
  • Ability to demonstrate skills in utilising data and analytics to measure and derive insights that will help refine and optimise campaigns
  • A grasp of member or customer marketing fundamentals and an understanding of member/customer journeys
  • Experience in working with internal and external vendors in the execution of campaigns, especially email and direct mail
  • Ability to manage and multitask multiple campaigns at any given time, varying from small, simple once-off communications to larger, complex journey based campaigns
  • Ability to show some basic commercial skills, to understand validity of ROI

Desirable

  • Experience in designing and executing multi-touch, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Baseline exposure and understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other marketing automation systems
  • Mail house and digital agency experience
