About the Role
The HCF Innovation team is reimagining the way Australians engage with their health and healthcare. We are seeking a talented Product Manager to play a key role in shaping the next generation of health in Australia.
In this role, you will work closely with our multi-disciplined innovation team members, business leaders, subject matter experts and members to craft intuitive, user-centred designs for our next generation of products and services. You will be someone who works well in small, fast moving, empowered teams.

The role
- Conduct extensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and whitespace opportunities in the broader health ecosystem.
- Lead the discovery and validation process for new business concepts, leveraging a range of techniques to rapidly test and refine solutions.
- Translate validated concepts into compelling business cases and product roadmaps that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Work alongside designers and engineers to bring new business models and services to life through an agile, iterative development process.
- Continuously monitor performance, gather feedback, and iterate to optimise the user experience and financial viability of new offerings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration with existing systems, processes, and partnerships.
- Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
- Communicate progress and new business updates to key stakeholders, including executive leadership.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant business, technology or design field
- 3 + years of product management experience, with a track record of developing and launching new business models or adjacency services, preferably in the health, fintech or insurance industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in market research, business case development, and product discovery/validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and translate complex concepts into executable strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present ideas and secure buy-in from diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management best practices.
- Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.
- Understanding of the broader healthcare landscape, emerging technologies, and innovation trends.
