Procurement Specialist


Join HCF's Procurement team as our Procurement Specialist. In your role you will work in collaboration with Procurement Category Managers to deliver sustainable procurement value through, sourcing and initiatives, commercial negotiations and delivering supplier and risk management activities across multiple categories. In this newly created role within a team of 7, you will report into a Senior Procurement Category Manager, providing procurement support across multiple Indirect and IT spend categories at HCF. You will work with Procurement Category Managers and the wider business to deliver commercial outcomes and risk mitigations across the supply base

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage sourcing activities, negotiations, and key initiatives through to contracting and implementation.
  • Perform supplier risk reviews and deliver the implementation of controls
  • Support category managers in the delivery and execution of sourcing projects
  • Complete spend analysis, manage contract lifecycle management
  • Supplier data and onboarding management

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in Procurement roles with a good knowledge of procurement practices. We are looking for people with the drive to deliver and support our ongoing delivery of value.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or Information Technology)
  • Commercial awareness and financial acumen
  • A strong understanding of customer experience and customer centricity principles
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, working across organisational structures with a confident, collaborative, results oriented approach
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use commercial and quantitative data
