Manager – Digital Tagging


The purpose of the Manager-Digital Tagging Role is to lead and implement good practice in the digital data instrumentation of HCF digital estate. The successful candidate manages the implementation and optimisation of scalable tagging solutions across digital platforms, ensuring accurate/consistent digital data collection and tracking. They build and oversees the strategic roadmap for tagging and analytics implementation and are responsible for creating and maintain the digital data layer tagging standards and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Digital Data Analytics Architecture: Lead the development of scalable analytics architecture, ensuring seamless data collection and integration
  • Establish Analytics Tag Implementation Governance: Establish and oversee analytics governance, including standardizing data definitions, tagging practices, and ensuring data privacy and compliance across digital platforms
  • Drive operational excellence: Drive efficiency in analytics processes by implementing automation and scalable data solutions
  • Contribute your expertise to decisions on digital metrics
  • Provide work estimates and contribute to evaluating work backlog across a diverse portfolio of requirements
  • Work as a member of an efficient digital analytics "factory" with an appropriate balance of automation and deeper bespoke reporting
  • Collaborate with other reporting and insights teams across HCF to share information and leading practices
  • Coach and mentor junior team members on digital data principles, techniques, and tools on an ongoing basis


Essential

  • Experience in a similar role with expertise in digital data collection, tag implementation, and running multivariate tests for insight-based optimization.
  • Proficiency in setting up tags using Adobe Launch.
  • Strong understanding of tag management data layers.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Experience collaborating directly with developers to implement analytic solutions.
  • Familiarity with optimization programs aimed at improving onsite conversion is a plus.
  • Good understanding of online marketing campaigns across channels, including SEO, SEM, Display, and Social.
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Analytics and Target is preferable
  • A generative mindset with the ability to think creatively, adapt to change, and approach challenges with a sense of possibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in people management
