Digital Product Manager


Reporting to the Digital Product Lead, the Digital Product Manager will play a key role to drive HCF’s broader digital strategy roll out. In collaboration with business and technology stakeholders, the Digital Product Manager will own the product backlog for their workstream/s and will lead the team to drive member and business value.

About the role


Digital Product Development

  • End-to-end accountability for workstream product backlog, quality, execution and outcomes.
  • Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams to discover, define and design your product roadmap and experience for your assigned workstream/s to develop, deploy and deliver business and member outcomes, and alignment to HCF’s broader strategic objectives.
  • Be product-led in cross-functional agile team to continuously design and develop market leading products, services and experiences for assigned workstream/s
  • Manage product development lifecycle from discovery, ideation and concepts to launch, managing continuous improvement and growth in-line with strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Define and proactively monitor key performance metrics and use analytics, market and user research, usability studies, competitor and comparator analysis to drive effective decision making.
  • Remove impediments for workstreams and squads to ensure continuous value delivery.
  • Develop deep customer and member insight to develop meaningful and market leading digital workstream
  • Prioritise the product roadmap and backlog by balancing needs of our customers and members with business outcomes by clearly communicating rationale behind your decisions.


Business Engagement

  • Evangelise product vision and experience across HCF Liaise daily and attend agile ceremonies with the cross-functional team members to create digital products and experiences customers and members find joyful and delightful
  • Cultivate strong partnerships across HCF to ensure we are building products and experiences that scale, and providing transparency and alignment around key priorities.
  • Partner with business and technology leads to consult on new business initiatives to ensure maximum business and member value
  • Communicate at all levels across HCF including Senior Leadership team.


Regularity & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Perform work in a manner that complies with relevant regulatory standards including Work Health & Safety (WHS) legislation.
  • Actively participate in all regulatory compliance activities associated with this role including required training, meetings and information sessions.
  • Cooperate with HCF in relation to any activities taken by the company to ensure compliance with relevant regulations including WHS legislation.
  • Identify, mitigate and report risks associated with potential breaches of regulatory standards including WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices.


About You

  • 3+ years digital product ownership experience in a regulated industry or product-led scaling up or transforming its business model at pace with a focus on B2C marketplaces built upon mobile, web and AI driven applications, and continuous value delivery and innovation.
  • Demonstratable customer commitment with ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams to build meaningful products and continuously improve experiences for our members
  • Strong communicator with experience working with stakeholders and executives in a large corporate environment
  • Experience working with 3rd party partners across product lifecycle
  • Experience partnering with brand and marketing teams to deliver products and that are aligned with messaging and go-to-market
  • Ability to create deep customer and member insights and turn into actions that create new growth opportunities or solve problem
  • Strategic and product-led mindset with strong business acumen and outcomes focus
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver against goals with a strong focus on details and outcomes
