As a Field Inspector you are the customer facing link within the Water Corporation. You will start your day on site, general working hours are from 8am to 4pm to minimise disruption to customers. The unplanned replacement program is one of 3 teams within Meter Renewals but in this role you will be given varied exposure to the full program.

Looking for a hands on, field-based role with only a small number of admin based tasks?

As a Field Inspector you are the customer facing link within the Water Corporation. You will start your day on site, general working hours are from 8am to 4pm to minimise disruption to customers. The unplanned replacement program is one of 3 teams within Meter Renewals but in this role you will be given varied exposure to the full program.

What the role will involve

Complete daily meter replacements to ensure service efficiency throughout the Perth metro region

Investigate customer generated enquiries / complaints and provide information to assist resolution and responses to ensure customer satisfaction

Carry out ad hoc work such as remote logger replacements, obstruction clearance, investigations, Large meter pre validation’s and other projects, as required

Participate in the development, implementation and ongoing review of customer focussed tactical initiatives

This role would be suited to applicants with a trades or technical background though we welcome all applications as on the job training will be provided. Note, we would require this role to operate in all (safe) weather conditions.

Key skills and experience

Current ‘C’ class driver’s license

Ability to adapt to new technology in the field and office

Experience undertaking field related activities supporting a customer environment

Strong Safety values, always holding safety as highest priority
