CSIRO’s Energy Research Unit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineering Manager with a background in Mechanical, Process, or Thermal Engineering to join our dynamic team. You will join a team of scientists, engineers and economists who are shaping the future of renewable energy in Australia and around the world. We are solving the challenges of industry, and creating new technologies to maximise the uptake of renewable energy, and reduce the cost of energy for all Australians. We are not interested in ivory tower research: our work is built to deliver real change and impact.
You will be working in Australia's national science institution, interacting with some of Australia's largest industries, tackling massive problems, meeting with researchers and scientists from around the world, and delivering practical solutions to incredibly challenging, complex and rewarding problems that can only be solved with some seriously deep thinking across science disciplines.
You will possess strong project management expertise and a proven track record in designing and commissioning high-temperature process systems. This role will suit a motivated individual with the ability to lead teams, engage effectively with clients, and drive the successful development of experimental and process plant projects.
