As the Business Development Manager - Agriculture and Food, you'll play a key role in guiding research opportunities from planning to market impact. You will work closely with researchers to identify the best commercialisation pathways, business models, and strategic partners for success.
This position involves early-stage partnership discussions, ensuring alignment of stakeholder interests and scaling opportunities through internal or external collaborations, along with managing relationships.
You'll be supporting significant impact and revenue-generating initiatives within the Research Unit and contribute to cross-organisational opportunities. Additionally, you'll be collaborating with Partnerships and Business Development (P&BD) colleagues and other Enterprise Units to ensure a strategic and coordinated approach to optimising CSIRO’s opportunity portfolio.
Location: All CSIRO Sites in Australian Major Cities will be considered
Salary: AU$131,113 - AU$153,639 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Indefinite
