CSIRO’s Biomedical Manufacturing (BMM) Program harnesses, develops, and deploys leading edge science and technology for advanced manufacturing of new-generation pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, vaccines, and biotherapeutics. This program is enabling medical providers in Australia and around the globe to better prevent, detect and treat a wide range of disease conditions, as well as enhancing the health and wellbeing of all Australians. There is an opportunity for an experienced Biologics Formulation Scientist to join this cutting-edge and collaborative team.
In this role you will collaborate in scientific and technological activities with other research staff by assisting with detailed planning and undertaking of experimental, observational or technology development work. You will contribute to developing new formulation development capabilities and support systematic formulation research studies at the beginning of the development program for a new medicine. As a member of the Biologics R&D Group you will work closely together with Regulated Biomanufacturing Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Downstream processing teams to ensure that the formulation administered in the Toxicology and Phase 1 of both human and veterinary clinical trials will be safe and effective.
