Sales Team Leader (Allied and Complementary Health)

We are seeking a Team Leader(Sales) to join our Allied and Complementary Health team, which specialises in the delivery of best-in-class risk management solutions for Australian SME clients.

The Team Leader is responsible for providing best in class service for a key portfolio of diverse clients and manage a team of Client Executives to implement strategies which focus on retaining and growing our client base.

Reporting to the Client Manager, this Team Leader is considered a key driver to our long-term growth ambitions in this segment and will work closely with leadership to drive positive results in Australia.

What the day will look like

This role is responsible for growing the portfolio and driving our growth strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving new business initiatives whilst leading a team managing a diverse portfolio of clients across various Allied and Complementary Health industries
  • Developing and maintaining a growth pipeline and looking for strategic opportunities for cross-sell of products, services, and risk solutions to both existing and potential clients
  • Supporting and coaching colleagues on Aon go to market strategy whilst acting as a technical referral point for colleagues and clients as required
  • Engaging with potential clients through networking, referrals, pro-active marketing, presentations, or any other methods
  • Actively participate in and support Business Development activities and be available for joint client/prospect meetings as/where required.

 

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience or interest in mentorship and/or team leadership
  • Entrepreneurial flair with demonstrated new business success
  • Tier 1 accreditation or higher
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of a broad range of insurance products
  • Analyse information/data to find opportunities and with an ability to ‘think outside of the box’
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Salesforce
