About the role
Ventia have a contract supporting the maintenance of the Coal ash handling plant of the Millmerran Power Station and Skout Solutions are seeking 1 Boilermaker to assist for a minimum of 3 Months in the Maintenance team on a position that may go permanent after.
Whats in it for you:
- 5-day (10.5 hours per day) Monday to friday work week in a great team environment.
- $54 per hour Mon-Thurs. 5th day worked in the week pays first 2 hours at $100 and $108 for all hours thereafter.
- Opportunity to work on a power station, experience in the resources industry not essential
- Possibility of more shutdown or longer term work within the business
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain plant effectively to the set standards;
- Work with Trades Assistants and other tradesmen to achieve plant performance;
- Complete minor plant isolation and operation;
- Complete routine plant maintenance
You will need
- Trade Qualification (Boilermaker)
- A commitment to OH&S practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A Coal Fit respirator test that we will organize and pay for in Toowoomba, prior to first day
- Current drivers licence and white card
