What the day will look like

  • Responsible for Real Estate renewal portfolio, empowering client service team to achieve retention & growth aspirations
  • Build reputation that leads to new opportunities and strengthens existing client arrangements
  • Execute and embed within client service team, the annual strategy focused on delivering revenue growth and client value
  • Lead your client service team to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and support them in their own career development
  • Connect with wider Aon stakeholders to ensure added value solutions are delivered to enhance client experience
  • Cultivate and develop relationships with key real estate insurer partners and key clients
  • Execute client service plans in line with objectives and oversee delivery against the plan
  • Demonstrate an engagement with clients to create further opportunities
  • Act as a technical referral point for colleagues and clients as required
  • Develop talent and building a high-performing team through continuous learning, honest feedback, rigorous development and disciplined talent management
  • Actively participate in and support Business Development activity and be available for joint client/prospect meetings as/where required.

We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude who enjoys collaborating closely with stakeholders and has the drive to learn and grow in our company. You will lead a fast paced and varied Insurance Broking team, mentoring the Team Leader to execute our strategy.

The right candidate will be provided with full training, ongoing support and guidance throughout their career at Aon.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Commercial understanding of business and the Insurance market
  • Real Estate, Landlords or professional services experience relevant to the insurance industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance products required by small business
  • RG146 Tier 1 qualification (required) and/or Diploma of Broking (advantageous)
  • Leadership capability and the commitment to developing leadership skills
  • Excellent commercial skills including ability to deliver and report on financials
  • Strong negotiating, listening and communication skills
  • Proven client management, portfolio management and relationship skills
  • Adaptable, focused and self-disciplined, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability
  • 3-5 years proven leadership, people development and team building/recruitment success.
