Business Insurance Associate - Affinity Small Business

The Opportunity:

This opportunity sits within our Affinity & Small Business team, who service an existing portfolio of Australian SME clients, responsible for retention & driving new business growth.

Be part of this exciting journey, take the first step as a Broker assistant, where you will contribute to positive client outcomes daily by supporting our team of Brokers focused on managing Renewal Portfolios, educating clients on risk and insurance products, brokering business, and driving new business growth.

You will work with an enthusiastic team and be supported to build your skills and confidence through initial training and ongoing development.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with potential clients through several channels, such as email, inbound and outbound phone calls
  • You will be assisting our Brokers with quoting for commercial insurance products
  • Being a team player, assisting the team to achieve targets through ad hoc admin, systems and project tasks
  • Help towards team KPIs and sales targets
  • Participate in training and mentor sessions to develop technical knowledge

About you:

  • You will be a natural people person who loves building rapport with others
  • You will have a positive outlook towards teamwork and helping others to achieve goals
  • You will be passionate about your career and enjoy being exposed to learning and development
  • Insurance, customer service or comparable administration would be beneficial, but we can train the right person
  • Strong experiences using software programs, such as MS Office/Outlook and any CRM
  • Analyze information and data, to find opportunities and prioritize
