Senior Manager Safety

About the Role:

Provides strategic safety leadership globally, to create a culture that espouses safety, wellbeing and care. This is also a hands-on role, helping us manage some of our biggest challenges in manufacturing and in- field construction of the solar arrays, where your innovative thinking will be critical for our success.

Although the focus is on improving our safety culture across our operations in Sydney / Adelaide / project sites, you will also ensure operational and people security as we continue to grow globally.

Duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and manage the Health and Safety Strategy across all 5B sites globally (note some travel required for this role)
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business at all levels; a natural leader, you will influence safety attitudes and behaviours globally
• Work closely with all leaders, employees and OH&S representatives to shape the safety culture
• Develop best practice programs globally
• Report all incidents locally and to the Executive Team and Board; and ensure closure of all incidents in a timely manner
• Ensure full compliance in all legal jurisdictions and nurture long-term relationships with key advisors in the various locations relevant to 5B
• Champion the Contractor Management system and drive strong disciplines and compliance
• Oversee safety management systems including ISO 45001 re-certification and compliance
