Principal Civil Engineer – Water Infrastructure

With our focus and strategy on working across all stages of the asset lifecycle, across all industry sectors, we offer a broad variety of office and site-based opportunities.

Our strengths and industry leadership are in digital engineering in water and wastewater planning, engineering and construction across multiple sectors, and we have a broad client base across numerous industries. Our team are currently working on a range of projects for clients such as SunWater, Arrow Energy, Seqwater, BHP, Sydney Water, Water Corporation and Urban Utilities.

As an experienced member of our team, you will be an active participant in the continued growth and success of our business. You will be involved in the delivery of exceptional technical work, liaison with internal and external clients as well as mentoring and developing our more junior team members.

At AECOM, we encourage your professional development. As part of this role, you will be supported in obtaining (if haven’t already) your CPEng and RPEQ in order to progress your career.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years’ relevant professional experience

  • Experience working on water infrastructure projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment

  • Water and wastewater experience across specific or broader industry asset lifecycle stages

  • Tender and Bid exposure – desirable

  • Passion for delivering high quality work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) – essential

  • RPEQ/CPEng (or working towards.)
