We’ve been recognised by industry events industry bodies like The Australian Business Awards, the Australian HR Awards, and the Australian HR Institute awards as well as TMCnet Tech Culture Awards in the United States.

These awards, honours and nominations recognise our commitment to creating an environment where our people are valued and have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. They are a testament to delivering an employee experience our people love and a demonstration of why Telstra is a great place to work.

Our approach starts with company-wide business values, which are designed to support our people and give them the tools they need to succeed.

We empower every individual to take accountability for their personal growth, provide rewards and recognition programs and promote flexible working through our All Roles Flex initiative, allowing them to choose when, where and how they work, aligning to business needs. While we’ve achieved much and have been rewarded for it, we aren’t going to settle. Through ongoing consultation, we continually aim to improve our initiatives and programs so we can continue to be an employer of choice for our people. These awards recognise businesses that have demonstrated leading employee engagement, recruitment and retention initiatives. This includes things like our commitment to company values, training and development, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, OH&S, flexible working, rewards and benefits and more.

2016: TMCnet Tech Culture Award (US)

The Tech Culture Awards identify companies that go the extra mile to provide what they believe is the ideal tech culture. Thanks to our flexible working options, ample opportunities to volunteer, access to leading communications technology and leadership training opportunities we received an A+ grading.
