Queensland Rail provides experience in leading edge equipment and the opportunity to develop skills in specialised areas of the rail industry.

With a focus on electricians and fitters Queensland Rail being a large and geographically diverse organisation, from time to time have vacancies for sheet metal workers; carpenters, plumbers and painters and decorators.

Train Crew

The Brisbane Suburban Area network extends from the centre of Brisbane south to Beenleigh and Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast, north to Ferny Grove, Shorncliffe, Caboolture and Gympie, east to Cleveland and west to Ipswich and Rosewood.

Queensland Rail Traincrew employees may be required to work at any Depot in the urban and interurban networks during the course of their employment.
