I started my career in hospitality over 15 years ago in Germany. After going through all operational departments including HSK, Kitchen, BQT, 3*** restaurant and FO I decided to take a year out to work and travel in Australia.
Not only did it give me the opportunity to learn proper English and get to know a different culture; it also opened up a chance to complete my MBA without previous study experiences.
As the Executive Assistant at The Westin Perth I have lots of exposure to the back end of an hotel operation and it makes me love hospitality even more.
Hospitality connects people as well as businesses and it is a sincere feeling of family once you decided to be a part of it.
