To me this is incredibly significant as a working mum who feels that personal and professional moments that matter should not be compromised.
I joined Deloitte having spent 12 years with another company and made the decision to not return to them from parental leave. I knew it would be a huge change joining a company I had never worked in previously, especially with 3 children under 3 and a half. There was no question around the flexibility I required for that period in my life and the contribution I could make.
