Mechanical Fitter


Due to the recent award of a 10-year Maintenance contract with Chevron, Ventia is seeking experienced & qualified Mechanical Fitters. The role will see you performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across rotating, static plant and Mechanical equipment for ongoing maintenance as well as during Shutdowns. This full-time position will see you working FIFO from Perth on an even time roster.
 
Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
  • Working at Heights
  • Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
  • Dogman
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical including D&A
  • High Risk License - highly regarded

 
Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in maintenance & fault-finding activities
  • Knowledge of hydrocarbon production systems and associated hazards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Gas compression & power generation systems
  • Ability to follow process & procedures  
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Excellent attitude towards health, safety & environment
