Stores Attendant L3


We are seeking a Stores Attendant to join our Defence Stores (furniture relocation) North Queensland team at the Defence base in Townsville. This position is a permanent part time opportunity working 20hr per week. 
 
Responsibilities 

  • Wrap furniture in protective material
  • Load, pack, and unload items with care
  • Ensure that no items are damaged while moving
  • Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location
  • Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation

 
Experiences & Qualifications 

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • MR truck Licence
  • Forklift License preferred (can be obtained once commenced position)
  • Exercises good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • You must be an Australian Citizen and be eligible to complete a Defence Security Clearance
