Stores Attendant L3
We are seeking a Stores Attendant to join our Defence Stores (furniture relocation) North Queensland team at the Defence base in Townsville. This position is a permanent part time opportunity working 20hr per week.
Responsibilities
- Wrap furniture in protective material
- Load, pack, and unload items with care
- Ensure that no items are damaged while moving
- Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location
- Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation
Experiences & Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar role
- MR truck Licence
- Forklift License preferred (can be obtained once commenced position)
- Exercises good communication and interpersonal skills
- You must be an Australian Citizen and be eligible to complete a Defence Security Clearance
