Operations Maintenance Supervisor


Up to $135,000 Inclusive of Superannuation

Ventia are looking for an experienced Operations and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Australian Marine Complex (AMC) North. This is your opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic environment, working on the frontlines of operations, maintenance, and infrastructure management.

As Operations and Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the effective implementation of planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities at the AMC Common User Facility (AMC CUF) North.

This multi-industry, multi-user facility features a deep-water port, a floating dock and transfer system, specialised load-out wharves, extensive laydown and assembly areas, and several large fabrication halls.

About the role:

  • Oversee our maintenance program and coordinate minor capital improvement projects, making sure they stay on track with scope, budget, and timeline
  • Handle bookings, inspections, and repairs to ensure our assets are well-maintained and used effectively at the AMC CUF North Facility
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure safety and quality, while collaborating with internal teams and external clients 
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, including scheduling, user requirements, and working with stakeholders to ensure smooth facility usage
  • Champion safety and compliance with SHEQ procedures, leading by example to foster a safety-first culture in everything we do

About you:

  • Experience in operations and maintenance planning, with a strong track record in managing programs and subcontractors 
  • Background in project management, maintenance, or a related field, ideally with experience in construction, building services, or maritime infrastructure 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to lead teams and engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experienced in budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met
  • Customer-focused, with the ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of internal and external clients
