Mechanical Tradesperson | Water Infrastructure and Assets

About the Project
Supporting SEQWater, Ventia deliver preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical and instrumental services across its water network. Servicing across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams across the South-East QLD Region.
About the Role
We are currently looking for Mechanical Tradespeople, to support the project in improving accurate asset inventory to allow better planning, maintenance and management of resources across the project:
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Daily inspections: conducting a thorough assessment of Seqwater's current asset data and identifying gaps and inconsistencies which could include: Pressure vessels, valves, actuators, lifting equipment, safety showers, etc.
- Utilising Ipads on Ventia's customized platform, Novus, for real-time data entry, validation, and cloud storage
About You
- Experience Mechanical across large maintenance programs and networks
- Current C Class Driver Licence
- Must obtain your own vehicle, allowances will apply
- Trade Mechanical Fitter or Fitter and Turner
- Ability to undergo a Hepatitis A and B vaccination
- Must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process
- Due to the large geography we cover, sites can vary from being close to home upto 3hrs away. With this in mind, please be flexible with working away home, if you are interested in this project. Accomodation will be provided and allowances will apply.
