About the roles

Estia Health Bentleigh has exciting opportunities for experienced Food Services Attendants and Housekeepers (Cleaner/Laundry Attendant) to join our team for Permanent Part Time Shifts.

Food Services Attendant | Permanent Part Time Shifts (Tuesdays & Fridays)

Helping to create a home residents love, you’ll take pride in delivering service standards that are of the highest level. No two days will be the same in this diverse role. One day your focus could be on assisting in meal service and the next you could focus on food preparation.

What will not change though is your commitment to:

  • Prepping and serving food and beverage
  • Cleaning – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one
  • Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual
  • Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program
  • Being active and on your feet for most of your shift

The traits that will help you succeed

You’ll be a real team player who has:

  • A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
  • Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
  • Great time management and planning skills
  • Completed the Basic Food Handling Course

Housekeeper (Laundry Attendant/Cleaner) | Permanent Part Time Shifts (Fridays & Saturdays)

In this busy role, you’ll:

  • Take pride in ensuring a clean, hygienic and safe home for our residents to enjoy everyday
  • Be a valued team member delivering to highest standards of cleanliness and safety, you’ll make a positive difference to the presentation of, and service within, the home
  • Join a fun and dedicated team of aged care professionals who strive to enrich and celebrate the lives of our residents

You’ll be a team player who:

  • Has excellent attention to detail where the delivery of health and hygiene standards are critical and a commitment to Work, Health and Safety principles is a must
  • Is positive, warm, empathetic and has a can-do approach to excel in this valued role
  • Implements and manages a hygiene maintenance system of auditing and site inspections for the home to assist in delivering operational excellence
