About the role
Helping create a home residents love, you’ll take pride in delivering service standards that are of the highest level. No two days will be the same in this diverse role. One day your focus could be on assisting in cuisine planning and the next you could focus on budgeting.
What will not change though is your commitment to:
- Creating amazing meals daily for our residents
- Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting cuisine that cater to every individual
- Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Programs
- Being active and on your feet for most of your shift
The traits that will help you a success
You’ll be an inspired and creative Chef, and a team player who has:
- A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
- A healthy amount of experience in commercial cookery (aged care is a bonus)
- Great time management and planning skills
- Strong expertise in food handling hygiene standards
- A Commercial Cookery Trade Certification (you are a qualified Chef)
