Senior Earthing & Bonding Engineer

As part of our growing ANZ and global Energy business, AECOM has an opportunity for a Senior Earthing and Bonding Engineer who is passionate about technical excellence and enjoys the challenge of working in a multi-disciplinary environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to be actively involved in innovative and highly motivated team of energy professionals and be instrumental in delivering landmark projects throughout Australia and South East Asia.

This role will see you being given the opportunity to work across all areas of earthing and bonding, from concept design through to detail design and commissioning, working with clients to deliver innovative solutions on landmark projects. As a senior member of the team, you will be involved in project coordination and delivery, contribution to bids and proposals as well as mentoring more junior members of our team.

Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role delivering Earthing and Bonding designs

  • Substations and feeder earthing

  • Stray current mitigation, AC interference studies, EMF studies, EMC assessment

  • Significant experience in the use of CDEGS (SES & Technologies) software

  • Demonstrated experience in authoring high quality engineering reports

  • Soil resistivity testing

  • Lightning protection design

  • Experience in current injection testing

  • Understanding of local authority standards, Australian Standards, and international standards and guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering

  • CPEng, RPEQ – or working towards
